CHARTER MEMBER ~ FLORIDA KEYS WILD DOLPHIN ALLIANCE

Key West’s only Dolphin Tour to incorporate a state-of-the-art hydrophone. This instrument allows us to hear the dolphins communicate, eco locate and greet each other. The hydrophone adds a dimension to your tour with out disrupting the dolphin’s activities. The surround sound system on board clearly projects every squeal, whistle and click. Passengers and children are encouraged to assist with the hydrophone operation – children will receive a certificate of participation. Fun and educational!

The pods of dolphin are most often found in the same areas year after year and these are referred to as the dolphin playgrounds.

It is here that the dolphins approach near enough to the boat for us to encounter them on a close and personal basis offering our passengers an opportunity to view the dolphins in their natural environment.

So as not to harass the pod, we stay in the vicinity only as long as they are accommodating, after which we move away and offer other activities.
