Captain Tom

Captain Tom has been in Key West and on the surrounding waters full time since 1975. His occupational experiences have included treasure diving, Dive control officer/ scuba instructor of the Florida keys marine institute, owner/operator of the 36′ sailing catamaran “Chariot”, operator of various dive boats for “dive Key West” and owner / operator of Easy Day Charters. Qualifications have included US Coast Guard 100 ton Master license, YMCA/NAUI scuba instructor and Florida state EMT certification.

The idea for Easy Day Charters was started as many of Capt. Tom's customers, who loved the water asked “what do you do on you days off?” The many stories of the different adventures and the variety of things to do – all of them off of the beaten path, entertained many and the common question was – how can I do that?

There was born the concept of introducing the passengers to the back country and allowing them to put together a dream list of how to disappear into the back country and plan any and all of the activates that interest them. Call it family fun, an adventure, a learning experience, call it whatever you like, this is a magic day and a truly easy day!
