Captain Bud

Capt. William “Bud ‘ Brock has teamed up with Easy Day Charters and is our relief Capt. He brings 30 years of local experience with him and is a native Floridian. Capt. Bud is from St. Petersburg, FL and spent most of his childhood around the local fish camps and marinas on Coffeepot Bayou in Old Tampa Bay. In “79BC” (before condos) Capt. Bud found a home port in Key West.

For the past 30 years Capt. Bud has worked the waters around Key West as a commercial fisherman, Charter boat Captain and kayak guide. Capt. Bud has appeared on the Key's TV show “Keys Native Guides” in 1997. He has been featured in a travel article in “Southern Living” magazine (Jan 2000). Capt. Bud can also be found on the front cover of “Sea kayaking in the Florida Keys”, by Bruce Waco. Capt. Bud holds a 100 ton Masters License, with Aux Sail and commercial tow endorsements.
